Do You Write Every Day?

Writing articles every day, at least during weekdays, is especially important for those of us looking for regular income from our articles. After all, if we’re submitting articles regularly, our incomes are more likely to follow. If you’re submitting articles to a site like Constant-Content.com for full rights, it’s crucial to keep a steady flow of articles coming in. On the other hand, if you’re focusing on revenue-share sites or usage rights sales, then the more articles you have available, the more page views or usage sales you can expect.

Whether you write a single article a day or ten, by writing daily you’ll get into a habit. It may take a while, but results are sure to follow. After all, an article a day, five days per week equals about 20 articles per month. In a year’s time, you’ll have about 240 articles! Plus, the more you write, the more you learn. Keep writing and keep learning!

Yahoo recently announced that it is acquiring Associated Content which should be finalized in the third quarter of this year. That makes now an excellent time to join Associated Content (if you haven’t already). Yahoo, with its wider distribution network and reach, could lead to greater exposure for Associated Content writers and their work. Why not start building your writing portfolio now so that you can take advantage of Yahoo’s influence in a few months?

If you’re new to Associated Content and content writing, check out the Online Writing Workbook Beginner’s Edition which shows you exactly how to get started.

The Importance of Setting Writing Goals

Have you set a writing goal yet? Whether you set a daily, weekly, or monthly goal is up to you, but you’ve got to do it. Otherwise, you’ll just keep putting off your writing “until you have time.”

How many times have you heard someone say, “One day, I’m going to write a book.” When exactly is “one day” and why not now? Many of us think that we need to find a cabin in the woods and lock ourselves up for months at a time in order to write a book. Why not write 1000 words a week and have a 52,000 word manuscript in a year’s time without the hassles of living in the woods isolated from the people we love?

Figure out what you want to accomplish with your writing and then break it down into more manageable goals. For example, if you want to start writing articles online, decide how many articles you want to write a month. Ten? Twenty? One? Once you know how many articles you want to write, break that down into weeks or days.

From there, start writing. Schedule reminders in your calendar program and then write, even if you don’t feel like it. You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish with your writing once you break your goals into smaller chunks.

Monthend Update

It’s been a busy month, but I met my goal of completing the Online Writing Workbook Beginner’s Edition. Now, you can learn about writing articles online with daily assignments – many of which could actually pay you! So far, the articles that I did as part of the assignments in the book have earned me about $70 and most will continue to generate income for months, if not years to come. Kind of neat, huh? Not only did I complete this workbook, but I also completed The ABC’s of Writing Articles for the Web, another eBook that’s included for free with the Online Writing Workbook Beginner’s Edition. All in all, a terrific month. I look forward to sharing my insights and experiences about writing articles online in the months to come.

Online Writing Workbook Beginner’s Edition is Ready!

The Online Writing Workbook is officially launched. Well, sort of. I still need to design an eCover for it. But the workbook itself is ready for instant download once paid for. This workbook is designed to get you writing and earning from day one. Expect to spend about three weeks writing and submitting articles for both current and residual income.

While I was writing the workbook, I was doing the assignments. I earned over $40 right away – and these articles will continue to generate income for me for years to come. How cool is that? Results will vary of course, but this workbook is designed to teach you how to start earning money by writing and selling your articles online.

Online Writing Workbook Nearly Ready

I’m nearly ready to publish Online Writing Workbook: Beginner’s Edition. Initially, I thought I should expand the section describing the Internet writing style. What I did instead was create a separate publication dedicated exclusively to Web writing styles. I will include this as a free bonus to anyone who purchases the workbook.

In addition, people that don’t want a workbook that teaches them how to make money writing online (What? Who wouldn’t want that?) but need to learn the mechanics of writing for the Web have an easy-to-read resource that explains the requirements.

Online Writing Workbook Beginner’s Edition Update

I wrote two chapters today (only two more to go). I should finish the lessons soon. After that, the workbook will need to be proofed and edited. That shouldn’t take too long, though I know that I want to expand a couple of the earlier lessons. I expect it to be ready for sale by the first of April. Currently, the workbook is 47 pages long and filled with lessons and assignments. It’s an “earn as you learn” workbook that should result in some immediate sales for students who actively follow the lessons. Plus, once students complete the workbook, they can continue writing online and earning money.
